Description: The 2010 year end awards banquet will be Wednesday, January 26th 6:00-9:00pm at Barley’s Taproom & Pizzeria in downtown Asheville. We will have the entire upstairs room. Admission, food and (non-alcoholic) drinks are free for members and 1 guest each. Games (billiards, foosball, & dart) are free as well but the bar is cash only.

NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE

The July 2010 meeting of HSCC will be this Wednesday, the 21st. We are trying out a new meeting location this month – The Crash Restaurant in Arden - but the times are the same: 6:15-7:15 social time & dinner, business meeting starts at 7:15. Details on the venue below:

Food Vendor at NS #4 (July 14th, 2010)

The Agricultural Center’s food vendor will be at Nite Series #4 on July 14th, 2010 with barbecue, hot dogs, chips, drinks, and other food and refreshments, so come hungry!

Plan on eating on site, and spend more time talking with friends and walking the course and less time hunting for something to eat.

The Event Results page has the details. Let’s go for four runs next time by registering and paying on line, getting in tech line early, and going straight to grid if you are in the first run group.

Nite Series #1 Results Posted!!

Well, the first event of the year is in the bag, and what a success it was!! We had close to 100 drivers come out which is, if not a record for the Nite Series, certainly is a record for the 1st event of the year!! Despite the high turnout, the event ran very smoothly and judging by the comments on the message board, everyone seemed to have a very good time. Big thanks to everyone who made this possible, and to all the drivers – especially the newbies – who participated. Here’s to a great season!!

The Central Carolinas Region of The Sports Car Club of America is gearing up to present the 4th annual Wolf Ridge Hill Climb! The hill climb is once again being hosted by Scenic Wolf Ridge Resort, nestled in the scenic Blue Ridge mountains just 30 minutes north of Asheville, NC.

The 2010 Nite Series schedule has been finalized and is now posted on the Schedule page. We have 7 events this year. As always, the events are on Wednesday nights at the WNC Agricultural Center in Fletcher, NC.
